Glacier National Park Vehicle Reservations

A vehicle reservation is required for entrance to Glacier National Park during the summer, from 6 am to 3 pm in the following areas: Going-to-the-Sun Road, the North Fork, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier.

Road, Trail & Campground Status

Conditions in the park are constantly changing due to trees, wildlife, and other natural events. Stay up to date on changes and closures for roads or trails you’re planning to visit.

 

Helpful tips For Glacier’s ticketing system:

  • Make sure to create an account before signing on the website to purchase tickets. You will be required to log in to purchase your tickets.

  • A park pass is required for entrance ($35), in addition to a vehicle reservation. A vehicle reservation does not include a park pass, and the park pass does not serve as a vehicle reservation.

  • You can view fees and pass requirements for each Glacier location on the NPS website here.

  • You can enter the park before 6 am or after 3 pm without a vehicle reservation.

  • Even with a vehicle reservation, parking at trailheads is not guaranteed and fills up quickly. Be sure to arrive early and leave plenty of time to find parking.

  • Most of the park does not have cell service or wifi. Download your tickets and maps before arriving to the entrance gate.
